Plain English, no catch

How Tampa Bay Gigs works

You describe the event once. We pass it to local pros who can actually do it. They quote you directly. That's the whole thing.

1. You tell us about the event

The form asks the questions a pro would ask on the phone: what the occasion is, when and where, roughly how many people, how long you need someone, and anything specific you already know you want. It takes about a minute, and you can skip whatever you haven't decided.

There is no account to create and no password to remember.

2. We route it to pros who fit

Your request goes to businesses in the network that cover your area, offer what you asked for, and are available on your date. It is not blasted to a national list — the whole point is that the person who calls you has worked your side of the bay before.

3. Quotes come straight to you

Pros contact you the way you asked to be contacted — call, text or email. Their price is their price; we do not add anything on top and we never see what you eventually pay.

Usually two to four businesses respond. Enough to compare properly, not so many that your phone becomes unusable. Reply to whoever you like and ignore the rest — nobody is owed an explanation.

4. You book, or you don't

There is no fee, no commission, and no obligation. Plenty of people use this purely to find out what something should cost before they commit to anything.

What it costs you

Requesting quotes
$0
No fees, no card, no premium tier. This will not change.
Booking fee
None
We take nothing off the job. What the pro quotes is what you pay them.

There is no catch in there to find. Businesses pay to be part of the network; you never do, at any point, for anything.

What we do with your details

Your request goes to matching pros in the network, and that's it. We don't sell contact data, we don't publish your request anywhere public, and we don't hand it to advertisers. Full detail is in the privacy policy.

Where we cover

Tampa Bay proper — Hillsborough, Pinellas and Pasco — plus Manatee, Sarasota, Hernando and Polk. See every area we cover. If you're just outside that, ask anyway; plenty of pros travel.

Questions people ask

Is it really free?

Yes. There is no charge to request quotes, no booking fee, and no markup added to whatever the pro quotes you. You will not be asked for a card at any point.

How many people will contact me?

Usually two to four. Enough to compare, not so many that your phone becomes unusable. You reply to whoever you want and ignore the rest.

Do you sell my information?

No. Your request goes to pros in the network who can cover your date and area, and that is it. We do not sell contact data to advertisers or list brokers.

What if nobody is available for my date?

We will tell you rather than leave you hanging, and if it is a tight date we will say what your realistic options are.

How far ahead should I book a DJ?

For a Saturday wedding in peak season (October through April around here) six to twelve months is normal. Parties and weeknight events are often fine two to six weeks out, and last-minute is worth asking about — cancellations happen constantly.

Which areas do you cover?

All of Tampa Bay — Hillsborough, Pinellas and Pasco fully, plus Manatee, Sarasota, Hernando and Polk. If you are on the edge of that, ask anyway.
